Microsoft UK don’t really need any introduction, do they? Microsoft’s global vision to empower every person and organisation to achieve more, but Microsoft UK also pursue a wide range of initiatives with particular resonance and relevance to the UK.
Objective of our commission
Flint Spark Consulting was commissioned to design and facilitate a workshop for thirteen employees within this successful company. We were asked to help the team to deal with the significant amount of change they were facing. In particular, we were asked to help the team to develop resilience and the ability to look at challenges from a positive perspective.
Our chosen approach
We delivered a short workshop for the team that included them completing a questionnaire beforehand that assessed their personal resilience levels across a range of five areas. In the workshop we got the delegates to work together in small groups to identify what builds or damages their personal resilience.
The workshop also looked at the importance of perspective and emotional intelligence in developing resilient behaviours. Finally, the team agreed what behaviours would be required to sustain the agreements made during the workshop.
